Android users tend to use their smartphones as mobile computers, and that includes storing a lot of multimedia files. Due to this media files are getting bigger and bigger with the passage of time and storages are getting larger at a slower pace, there’s an obvious need for the external storage. That’s the place where the issue starts.
Android is kinda limiting third-party apps access to the SD card. Keeping this in mind we move on to the issue of “Out of space” error in the UC Browser. If you have changed the browser settings, it is recommended to check permissions and restoring the factory path for future downloads.
How to fix storage error in UC Browser?
- Open UC Browser.
- Tap on the navigation bar and Open Settings.
- Navigate into Download Settings.
- Tap on Default Path.
- Choose a different path.
- Confirm the changes.
- Restart the browser.
- Try downloading the files again.
Do make sure that you have enough storage space.
Later on, if you need to have your downloads on the SD, you can transfer them manually. Just let them download on the download to the internal memory firstly.
